The AI maintains a real-time model of grid state by processing DER telemetry, generation forecasts, load patterns, and historical dispatch data. When deviation from expected state is detected, it evaluates dispatch options ranked by grid impact and operator-defined constraints. Not a static rule engine: the model updates continuously as conditions change.
